Job Description
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role on a dynamic engineering team, leading efforts in process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. This position partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations while delivering products to customers on time. Key Responsibilities • Lead engineering projects through all phases from concept to implementation • Improve production methods, tooling, equipment, and plant layout to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement effective, sustainable solutions • Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles • Develop and standardize best practices and communicate across plant personnel • Manage daily production line challenges related to equipment, tooling, and work instructions • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve manufacturing processes • Support equipment design, testing, installation, and startup activities • Promote safe work environments through ergonomic and safety-focused improvements • Provide training and knowledge transfer on new processes and equipment Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field • 5+ years of professional engineering experience Preferred Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment • Experience with injection molding processes • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and control systems • Proven project management experience delivering results on time and within budget • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies • Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks • Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs and programming • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams • Demonstrated leadership skills in a production environment
