Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Maintenance Technician III for a temporary assignment supporting an apartment complex in Everett. This role is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional who can work independently, troubleshoot issues, and support multiple properties with minimal supervision.

Location: Everett, WA

Pay: $30.00-$35.00/hour DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Assignment Length: Temporary, with potential for extension

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment unit turns, including repairs, painting, and final inspections.

• Perform plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring, appliance, carpentry, and hardware repairs.

• Respond to occupied-unit maintenance requests professionally and efficiently.

• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently.

• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.

• Maintain common areas, grounds, and building systems.

• Assist with emergency maintenance situations as needed.

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors.

• Document completed work and communicate maintenance concerns to management.

• Support resident relocations and unit preparation activities when required.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of residential, apartment, hotel, or commercial maintenance experience.

• Strong skills in plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring, appliance repair, and general carpentry.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize work across multiple locations.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Valid Washington State driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.

Preferred:

• Multi-family housing maintenance experience.

• HVAC certification.

• Experience working in occupied residential communities.

• Experience completing unit turns and lease-up preparation.
