Job Description
Our client is looking for a dependable Pool Service Technician to support daily repair and maintenance of residential pool equipment. This position centers on accurate diagnostics, quality service, and strong customer communication.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Pool Service Technician, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of residential pool systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Diagnosing and repairing pool heaters, pumps, filters, and automation systems
• Servicing and repairing automatic pool covers
• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components of pool equipment
• Performing regular maintenance and inspections
• Communicating with clients about repair needs and service updates
• Ensuring all work is completed to company standards and local codes
• Keeping accurate records of work performed
Qualifications:
• This role requires the ability to speak, write, and understand English at a professional level.
• Previous experience in pool service or HVAC strongly preferred
• Knowledge of pool equipment and systems (e.g., Pentair, Jandy)
• Mechanical and/or electrical repair experience
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record/ Company vehicle and tools provided
Preferred (but not mandatory) Qualifications:
• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification
• HVAC certification or licensing
• Experience with saltwater systems and automation controls
