Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated RV/Camper Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair campers and recreational vehicles (RVs). The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance and carpentry, along with working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
RV repair experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has related hands-on experience, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
This position requires working both inside and outside of campers and RVs, including climbing ladders and accessing rooftops to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Responsibilities
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and service work on campers and RVs
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems
• Complete carpentry repairs, installations, and modifications
• Assist with electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• Read and accurately use a tape measure
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and service needs
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
• General maintenance and carpentry experience required
• Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical systems
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• RV or camper repair experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and standing
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds (team lifting available when needed)
• Ability to climb ladders throughout the workday
• Ability to work on top of campers and RVs as needed
• Comfortable working at varying heights
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
