Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pressure Washer Operator to join our maintenance and cleaning team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating high-pressure cleaning equipment to efficiently and safely clean a variety of surfaces, including building exteriors, machinery, vehicles, and industrial facilities. Responsibilities • Operate pressure washing equipment safely and effectively to clean designated surfaces according to specified standards • Prepare work sites by setting up hoses, nozzles, and safety barriers before beginning cleaning tasks • Inspect surfaces prior to cleaning to determine the appropriate pressure settings and cleaning agents • Apply cleaning solutions when necessary, ensuring proper handling and disposal in accordance with safety protocols • Perform routine maintenance on pressure washing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity • Adhere strictly to safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times • Document completed work and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and complete projects efficiently • Maintain a clean work environment during and after operations to prevent hazards or accidents

Skills • Proven experience operating pressure washing or similar cleaning equipment is preferred • Strong understanding of safety procedures related to high-pressure water systems and chemical handling • Ability to assess surfaces and determine appropriate cleaning methods and pressure settings • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship • Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions • Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors • Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures for pressure washing equipment is a plus
