Job Summary

As a Switchgear Assembler, you'll be working with wires and assembling paneling for low voltage and medium voltage large scale panels. The Switchgear Assembler position requires the ability to work with these large panels, lift up to 50 lbs., and stand/walk/move for the entire shift. Experience in mechanical assembly, strong attention to detail, ability to use hand and power tools, and the ability to read blueprints/schematics will be very important in this role.

Schedule Options • Monday to Thursday: 5:00am-3:30pm • Monday to Friday: 6:00am-2:30pm • NEW 2ND SHIFT! Monday-Thursday: 3:45pm-2:15am Pay • $23.00-$25.33/hour, based on experience • Weekly paychecks every Friday Location and Work Environment • Champlin, MN facility - Low voltage electrical assembly • Dayton, MN facility - Medium voltage electrical assembly • Clean working environment • Option to wear one earbud on the production floor Responsibilities and Duties • Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions • Select and align parts based on specifications to assemble complex units • Use hand tools, power tools, rivet guns, and other equipment to perform assembly tasks • Measure and inspect completed assemblies for quality • Identify, report, and document any issues in the assembly process • Maintain accurate records of production quantities and time for completion Skills and Qualifications • 0-3 years of previous mechanical assembly experience OR a related field • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics • Ability to read a tape measure • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. • High school diploma OR equivalent (required) • Pre-employment background check (required) • Pre-employment drug screen (required) Benefits and Perks • Paid holidays • Medical insurance • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Term life • Short-term disability • 401(k) • Employee assistance program • Referral program • Growth opportunities • Breakrooms with inside convenience store
