Sanitation Worker - Graveyard Shift Location: Vancouver, WA Shift: 9pm- 6am (overnight) Employment Type: Temporary (6 months with possible extension) Pay Rate: $19 per hour About the Position We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to join our team for the graveyard shift. This temporary position offers 6 months of employment with the possibility of extension through the season. If you're detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to work in a fast-paced food processing environment, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities • Maintain general cleanliness and sanitation in all production areas • Clean and sanitize production materials, machines, and production areas quickly and efficiently during shift without compromising quality or sanitation standards • Follow directions from supervisors and QA personnel • Implement standard cleaning procedures independently to maintain facility-wide sanitation standards • Understand and minimize basic safety and sanitation hazards related to food processing using employer-provided tools and materials • Read, understand, and stay current with all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) for facility chemicals • Use all cleaning and sanitation products safely and effectively as outlined in MSDS documentation Physical Requirements • Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and move constantly for up to 12 hours per day • Physical stamina for extended shifts with frequent overtime Qualifications • Strong attention to detail • Ability to follow instructions and work independently • General knowledge of cleaning procedures preferred • Common sense approach to workplace safety and hazard recognition • Willingness to work graveyard shift and 6 days per week as needed • Reliable and punctual attendance Schedule • Shift Hours: 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM • Days: Monday-Friday (must be available for 6 days/week) • Overtime: Significant overtime opportunities available Associate Benefits While working for Express, our associates can become eligible for a variety of benefits: • Referral bonuses • Medical plan • Dental plan • Vision/eyewear plan • Prescription drug reimbursement • Short-term disability • Direct deposit • Sick Pay • 401(k) retirement savings plan • Life insurance How to Apply Send your resume to staffing.vancouverwa@expresspros.com
