Temp FlexForce is currently recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector. - Perform Inspections and tests at receiving, in-process and final for all production parts, subassemblies, purchased parts, outside Operations and completed assemblies. - Employee would be responsible for but not limited to visual and dimensional inspections, performing hardness testing, and maintaining gage calibrations. Job Type: Full-time, potential to be hired on permanently Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 /hour Paid Holidays Free healthcare PRIMARY FUNCTION: Performs inspections and tests for at receiving, in-process and final for all production parts, subassemblies, purchased parts, outside operations and completed assemblies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspections. - Responsible for performing hardness testing. - Responsible for maintaining gage calibrations. - Responsible for documenting inspection results. - Responsible for determining accuracy of heat codes and material test reports. - Responsible for initiating documentation for nonconforming materials, components, sub-assemblies and finished assemblies. - Verification of effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive actions. - Maintain a professional relationship with machinists, assemblers, test technicians, final prep personnel, and supervisors and managers. - Know and understand Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the QMS. - Comply with all health and safety rules.
