GLO Resources is searching for a Project Manager / Estimator to support construction projects in Baton Rouge, LA and surrounding areas. The pay rate is between $100,000 and $150,000 annually, experience dependent. The schedule is Monday – Friday with occasional overtime and periodic travel to job sites as required.

Position Summary

The Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of construction projects, from initial estimating through project completion. This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, the Project Manager / Estimator will lead project planning, cost estimation, procurement, and execution efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure overall client satisfaction

• Visit project sites to assess scope of work and prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals

• Evaluate project designs for constructability and identify value-engineering opportunities

• Develop project execution strategies, including self-perform and subcontracted work decisions

• Solicit, analyze, and procure subcontractor services and material purchases

• Negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders

• Develop, update, and manage project schedules

• Monitor and control project costs to maintain budgets

• Identify potential project risks and implement solutions proactively

• Coordinate and lead project meetings; track progress and action items

• Oversee submittals, permits, and required project documentation

• Conduct site inspections to ensure progress and compliance with project standards

• Manage project closeout processes, including documentation of substantial completion

• Participate in weekly staff meetings

• Provide support to the Project Superintendent as needed

• Other duties may be assigned as necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of field experience and/or a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

• Proven experience in project management in civil and deep foundations is required

• Experience estimating and managing both self-performed and subcontracted work

• Strong understanding of project cost control and change order management

• Proficiency with construction-related software and general computer applications

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Valid Driver’s License is Required

• Valid TWIC Card is Required

• Valid OSHA Basic+ is Required

• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Commitment to ethical conduct and professional standards

Physical Requirements

• Bending, crouching, sitting, and standing for extended periods

• Sitting in front of a computer for prolonged periods

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs

• Exposure to outdoor conditions during job site visits, including extreme temperatures

• Ability to manage a large workload and meet tight deadlines
