Industrial Maintenance Technician

Industrial Maintenance Tech Everett, MA area Day Shift 25-30/hr Summary of Responsibilities: • Maintain productions lines which includes set-up, line changeovers, and adjustments of processing, packaging and other equipment making sure the line is observed running correctly before the leaving the area. • Perform general repairs to the facility and building. Examples may include repairing drywall, replacing ceiling tiles, repairing overhead dock doors, changing filters and other building maintenance and repair. • Climb ladders to gain access to the roof to perform maintenance and mechanical work. • Service lines when down due to mechanical problems or other issues. • Lubricate and grease machines. • Fabricate items and components for the plant (such as machine parts, covers and other items). • Inspect the electric walkies and to report any issues or problems • Service vacuum pumps, motors, gear boxes and other equipment. • Perform maintenance duties while being positioned on a ladder or other type of temporary support structure. • Preform preventive maintenance tasks • Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: • Knowledge and understanding of electrical AC and DC motors and controls. • Knowledge and understanding of general carpentry and plumbing • Knowledge and understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. • Welding, metal and plastic fabrication skills are a PLUS but NOT a requirement • Bilingual ( English & Spanish) is a PLUS but NOT a requirement
