Position: Service Technician Pay Rate: $25.00 / hourly Location: Stockton, CA Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM / 5:30 PM (Overtime Available) Job Description We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join a growing team that specializes in commercial doors, gates, and dock equipment . This role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional customer service while performing installation, repair, and maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a high standard of workmanship . This position is well suited for someone who takes pride in their work, collaborates well with a team, and is interested in long-term growth within a principle-driven company. Duties and Responsibilities Install, repair, and perform maintenance on commercial doors, gates, and dock equipment following company procedures and safety standards. Diagnose issues and develop accurate service plans using analytical and troubleshooting skills . Travel to customer sites using a company-provided service vehicle equipped with necessary tools and materials. Educate customers on proper product operation, maintenance, and best practices . Maintain strong professionalism and customer service during all service calls. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and lift equipment . Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and service performed. Follow all company safety policies and procedures . Perform additional duties as assigned. Education High School Diploma or GED required. Qualifications Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Minimum 2 years of experience as a commercial door, gate, or dock service technician. Strong knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards . Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills . Strong communication skills in English . Professional attitude with a strong work ethic and coachable mindset . Ability to quickly learn new concepts, equipment, and procedures. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and lift equipment . Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., climb ladders, and perform repetitive bending and lifting .
