If you enjoy caring for children, have good interpersonal and sensitivity skills and wish to work within the education and childcare field, a job as a nursery assistant may be a good fit for you. As a nursery assistant its your duty to assist with daily operations at the daycare facility. Nursery assistants work directly under nursery teachers and directors to teach kids, watch them and keep them safe.

• Helping to supervise children

• Feeding kids nutritious meals and snacks

• Organizing activities, such as games and educational tasks

• Assisting superiors with their tasks

• Ensuring safety of all kids

• Observing educational and development progress

• Recording and documenting important milestones in kids' daily life

• Helping children with general hygiene
