Join a leading manufacturing organization as a Production Maintenance Specialist, where you will be an essential part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. We are looking for a dedicated individual with strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication abilities to thrive in our dynamic environment.
Location: TRAVERSE CITY, MI
Pay Range: Based on Experience
Shift: 1st Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm Monday-Friday 2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm Monday-Friday 3rd Shift: 10:00pm - 6:30am Sunday-Thursday, overtime Saturday if needed
What Will You Do? • Carry out a variety of tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. • Provide both emergency and scheduled repairs of production equipment to ensure continuous operations. • Utilize technical manuals and work orders to perform maintenance and repairs effectively. • Diagnose equipment issues, replace or repair parts, conduct tests, and adjust machinery as needed. • Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to uphold high operational standards.
What You Need to Bring: • Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs. • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and work orders. • Physical capability to lift over 50 pounds and engage in active tasks including standing, walking, bending, and climbing frequently. • Proficient in the use of various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment. • A strong commitment to safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
