Job: Program Receptionist
Location: Kingston, NY
Pay: $18/hour
Job Type: Full Time, Temporary
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (less 30 minute lunch)
Job Summary
Provides reception and administrative support to the VP of Programs and program staff. As the first contact for our participants and visitors, this position ensures that everyone feels welcomed and at ease when they come to our organization.
Responsibilities
• Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, data entry copying, binding, scanning etc.
• Compile reports and other necessary administrative duties
• Ensure efficient operation of the office.
• Ensure the confidentiality of all agency information
• Uses proper judgment and problem-solving skills to handle situations independently
• Responsible for the administration of all general office functions
• Suggests improvements to administrative processes
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies
• Prepare materials such as correspondence, proposals, minutes of meetings, reports, brochures, statistical reports and bulk mailings as delegated
• Other duties as assigned
Entry Level Qualifications:
• Associate 46;s Degree in a related discipline or High School Diploma or Equivalent and three years 46; experience working in related field
• Strong administrative skills and self-motivated with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks under minimal supervision in effective and efficient manner
• Highly organized and efficient, strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent time-management skills
• Proficient in Word, Excel & Publisher for data entry, word processing, developing and maintaining systems, typing, statistical reporting and recordkeeping and medical records management.
• Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without accommodations required by federal, state or local law.
