Forklift Safety Officer
Local food manufacturer in Fresno is now hiring for a Forklift Safety Officer!
Pay Rate: $20-25 depending on experience
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday Over time may be required.
Duties may include but not limited to the following: • Conduct daily and weekly forklift safety inspections • Ensure forklift operators complete pre- and post-operation checklists • Monitor forklift operations and address unsafe behaviors • Support and/or lead forklift safety training • Maintain safety records, inspection logs, and operator certifications • Assist with forklift-related incident and near-miss investigations • Coordinate with maintenance for forklift repairs and servicing • Promote a strong safety culture on the production floor
Requirements: • 12 years of forklift experience • General occupational safety experience preferred • Strong attention to detail and hazard awareness • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred • Knowledge of OSHA and forklift safety standards
