Foreman – Custom Home

PRST is seeking an experienced Bags-On Carpenter/Foreman to join a custom home contractor in San Francisco, CA, specializing in luxury custom home construction. This role requires a highly skilled carpenter with leadership ability to manage crews while remaining hands-on with daily work. Candidates should bring 5+ years of custom residential carpentry experience, including framing, finish, and detailed woodwork. The ideal candidate can interpret blueprints, oversee daily site activities, ensure top-tier craftsmanship, and maintain schedules while promoting safety and efficiency on the job site. This Foreman will spend a certain portion of his day swinging hammer, he/she would spend the rest of his days managing and directing subcontractors as well as our own crew, staffing building inspections, putting together materials take offs and orders, meeting daily with our project manager to check on compliance with budget and schedule. The Foreman would be issued a tablet which he/she would use to reference project files, including estimates, subcontracts, product cut sheets, installation manuals, architectural and structural plans, etc. This Foreman would be responsible for posting daily progress reports with the tablet, which consists of several photos of the work that has been accomplished that day along with a bullet point summary of all activity.
