TITLE: Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Lead

LOCATION: Portland, OR (Hybrid/Onsite Flexibility)

PAY: Target pay for this role is $150-175K but may vary based on experience

ENGAGEMENT TYPE: Contract-to-Hire or Direct Hire

What You'll Be Doing

As the Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Lead, you'll lead the strategy, automation, and reliability of AWS-based infrastructure for a rapidly growing SaaS/eCommerce platform. You'll design secure, scalable cloud environments, drive Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and manage CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery and ensure platform stability. This role is both strategic and hands-on, collaborating across engineering, product, and data teams to support the company's digital platforms.

Who We're Looking For

You're a seasoned cloud and DevOps professional with: • 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps, including 2+ years in leadership • Deep hands-on expertise with AWS (EC2, ECS, VPC, RDS, IAM, S3) • Strong experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code • Proven track record building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines • Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or CloudWatch • Familiarity with security best practices, secrets management, and cloud compliance (ISO/SOC2 is a bonus) • A passion for mentoring engineers and shaping DevOps culture in a high-growth environmentAbout Our Client • Be part of a dynamic environment leveraging technology to innovate in the vacation and hospitality space.WHY ProFocus • Candidates come first.
