Air Import Agent Location: Grand Prairie, TX 75050 Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Depending on Experience) Schedule: Thursday - Monday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Summary Regal Staffing Services is currently seeking an experienced Air Import Agent for a logistics and freight forwarding company located in Grand Prairie, TX. The Air Import Agent is responsible for coordinating and processing import shipments, ensuring cargo is handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all applicable regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Track cargo arrivals and update shipment milestones within the freight management system. • Process high-volume air import transactions, including booking, billing, documentation, and shipment tracking. • Review shipping documents and verify shipment accuracy. • Communicate with customers, carriers, brokers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and delivery arrangements. • Notify customers of cargo arrivals and associated charges. • Generate freight transfer documentation and process bills of lading. • Coordinate deliveries and issue delivery orders to carriers and trucking companies. • Ensure hazardous materials are processed in accordance with IATA and CFR regulations. • Complete inbound shipment moves, permits, and transfer documentation. • Verify carrier invoices and maintain accurate records for accounts payable and receivable. • Investigate lost freight, shortages, and claims while maintaining communication with all involved parties. • Maintain organized shipment files and complete all tracking and billing milestones according to company standards. Qualifications • Some college coursework or Associate Degree preferred. • Minimum of 1-2 years of Air Import experience. • Knowledge of import procedures, documentation, and freight forwarding operations. • Understanding of INCOTERMS. • Experience handling bonded freight and cargo. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Excellent communication and customer service abilities. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
