We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Part-Time Executive Assistant in Norfolk, Virginia. This role is essential in our organization, providing direct support to our regional partners, executives, and cross-functional teams. The Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for advanced administrative duties, managing projects, and maintaining sensitive information with the utmost discretion. This role will require agility and adaptability in a high-energy, diverse, professional environment.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively with regional partners, executives, and cross-functional organizations
• Execute advanced administrative duties while handling sensitive information with tact, diplomacy, discretion, and discernment
• Utilize project management skills to manage and complete projects in a timely manner
• Use various software technologies, including Microsoft, to perform tasks efficiently
• Coordinate events and manage schedules for the executive leadership team
• Maintain a high level of emotional intelligence and integrity while performing duties
• Adapt to constantly changing demands and new tools/technologies
• Handle business correspondence professionally and efficiently
• Demonstrate a strong ability to multitask and manage priorities for senior leadership team members
• Play a significant role as a member of the leadership team, contributing to the organization's long-term economic strategy • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative role • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Familiarity with relevant software technology • Proven experience in project management • Strong ability to handle business correspondence • Experience in coordinating events • Ability to work effectively with executive leadership • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written • Must be able to multitask and prioritize work effectively • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Must have a high level of discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
