We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. This role requires an individual with extensive experience and a detail-oriented approach, along with a strong background in financial reconciliations, month-end closing processes, and familiarity with Yardi software. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a meticulous approach to accounting, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:• Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.• Oversee the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries and adjustments.• Manage and maintain the general ledger to ensure all transactions are properly documented.• Conduct detailed bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.• Assist with the implementation and optimization of Yardi software for financial operations.• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement.• Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and consistency.• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to accounting systems or financial discrepancies.• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles and industry regulations.
