Job Description
Staff Zone is a temporary and temp to hire staffing agency in the construction industry. We are seeking candidates to serve as Flaggers in the Plano, TX area. What you will do as a Certified Flagger:
Our certified flaggers play a significant role in our industry and business operations.
• Set up and maintain traffic-controlled work zones (roads, highways, construction areas) to meet customer needs.
• Work with an awesome team to ensure proper work zone coverage and safety awareness for all moving or stationary objects.
What you’ll bring:
• Must be able to read and write English
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Open to flexible work hours
• Must have flagger certification
• Willing to undergo a pre-employment background screening (We are a Second Chance Employer) if required by customer
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
Physical Requirements:
• Physical ability to move heavy objects up to 50lbs, on occasion
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to work around moving objects or vehicles
