Pay: $45.00 - $48.00 per hour Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a specialty infusion and oncology/hematology clinic environment. Under minimal supervision, the RN will administer infusion therapies, assess patient needs, provide education, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care. Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of patient care consistent with established standards and practices Assess patient and family needs and provide education and instructional materials as appropriate Prepare and administer therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician Administer infusion therapies including: Hydration therapy Ensure pre-authorizations and appropriate consent forms are obtained prior to therapy administration when applicable Consulting physicians regarding dosage changes, symptom management, and treatment concerns Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatments provided Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient and family care needs Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program; Active RN license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state Minimum of 1 year of experience administering infusion therapies as an RN The work environment is representative of a specialty oncology/hematology clinic setting. Employees may be exposed to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions common to a clinical infusion environment.
