Position Summary

Mixed Staffing and Recruiting is seeking dependable and hardworking Landscapers / Grounds Crew team members to support outdoor property maintenance and beautification projects.

The current assignment will primarily focus on mulch installation and landscape bed cleanup, with opportunities to assist in additional general landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks as needed.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy physical outdoor work, take pride in creating clean and professional-looking properties, and work well in a team environment.

Current Project Duties

• Spread and install mulch evenly throughout landscape beds

• Prepare flower beds and outdoor spaces before mulch placement

• Remove weeds, debris, sticks, and old mulch

• Edge beds for a clean and finished appearance

• Load, unload, and transport mulch and landscaping materials

• Rake and level mulch for consistent depth and coverage

• Clean walkways, driveways, and surrounding work areas after completion

General Landscaping Responsibilities

• General grounds cleanup

• Weeding and trimming

• Planting flowers, shrubs, and greenery

• Watering plants and landscaped areas

• Leaf and debris removal

• Assist with seasonal property cleanup projects

• Operate hand tools such as rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and trimmers

• Support other outdoor maintenance projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping, lawn care, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to lift 40–50 pounds regularly

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a crew

• Attention to detail and pride in finished work

Physical Requirements

• Frequent bending, lifting, walking, and standing

• Ability to lift mulch bags, tools, and yard debris

• Comfortable working on feet for extended periods

• Ability to work in heat, sun, and changing weather conditions
