Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Direct Hire Recruiter to join our team at Surge Staffing. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for direct, temp or temp to hire placement opportunities within the light industrial sector, including manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. The ideal candidate will have strong sourcing skills, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to match high-quality candidates with long-term career opportunities. Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for direct hire, temporary or temporary to hire placements, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting candidates Partner with clients to understand hiring needs, job requirements, and company culture Proactively source qualified candidates using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and internal databases Negotiate offers and guide candidates through the hiring process to successful placement Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) Provide a high level of customer service and act as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred 1 year of recruiting experience or coordinating experience Experience placing candidates in direct hire roles, ideally within manufacturing, logistics, or distribution is a plus Strong sourcing and networking skills using job boards, social media, and other recruiting tools Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Competitive compensation structure with performance incentives Career growth and advancement opportunities #
