Location & Compensation • Hybrid in Tampa, FL (3-4 days in office) • Base Salary 180k - 220k (based on experience) + bonus

The Role • Own architecture for AI applications built on Azure Foundry and Azure OpenAI • Set patterns and standards for how the team builds cloud-native AI • Partner with data scientists and the R&D group on agentic AI, NLP, and predictive analytics initiatives • Lead Copilot Studio adoption — including where not to use it • Architect for security, compliance, and data governance from day one • Mentor developers; review designs; unblock the team • Track the Azure and broader AI landscape and bring back what's worth adopting • Translate business asks into technical reality — and vice versa Tech Stack • Azure Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure ML • Cognitive Services, Bot Services • Copilot Studio, Power Platform • Graph API, MS 365 • React, Node.js, Python, TypeScript, PowerShell • CI/CD, IaC, Git, Agile

Skills & Experience • 7+ years in software engineering; 3+ in architect or tech lead role • Deep Azure AI experience — production systems, not POCs • Track record shipping AI/ML solutions that are still running today • Strong grasp of security and compliance in regulated environments • Can hold a room with engineers and with executives • Solid foundation in DevOps, automated testing, and Git-based delivery

Nice to Have • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field • Experience in regulated industries (legal, financial services, healthcare) • Familiarity with agentic AI patterns and multi-model orchestration
