Administrative Specialist- Check Out
Location: Tampa, 33614 – This position is onsite
Pay: $22.00 - 23 per hour
Type: Contract-to-hire
Schedule: Mon- thursday between 8am-7pm, Friday 8-5pm, Saturdays if needed- 9-1pm est
Dress Code: Dark grey and Black scrubs
Job description: • Serve as a point of contact for patients and visitors, check out duties- collecting payments and scheduling of next appointment if neccessary. • Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and identification • Answer phones, route calls, and respond to patient inquiries • Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments • Review /Prep charts to make sure all required documentation is in place • Scan, upload, and file documents • Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality • Support daily office operations and assist staff as needed

Requirements: • Must have (1)+ years of medical office experience, check out experience • Must be familiar with EHR systems • High school diploma or equivalent • Background check required • Drug screening required
