Enlisted Mobility Air Force Integrated Instrument And Flight Control Systems
The Air Force relies upon a wide array of aircraft to complete a variety of tasks integral to our mission. Specializing in electronics and avionics, Mobility Air Forces Integrated Instrument and Flight Control Systems specialists have a critical role keeping bombers, helicopters and cargo planes ready to go. These experts must keep everything to exacting standards to ensure systems operate as intended for the missions they complete all over the world.
What you'll do • Operate and maintain instrument and flight control systems • Perform maintenance on bombers, cargo aircraft and helicopters • Diagnose malfunctions using technical orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and test equipment • Interpret and recommend corrective action based on inspection findings • Establish methods and performance standards • Prepare aircraft for low-altitude attack profiles, precision bombing, covert operations and reconnaissance

Key Things To Consider Requirements
You must meet several requirements before joining the Air Force. These concern your background, overall health and other standards set by the Air Force, Department of Defense and federal law. • You must be 1742 years of age, a U.S. citizen and obtain a qualifying ASVAB score. • High School Students may start their application as early as the end of their junior year.
Applicants who are non-graduates or non-alternate credential holders must obtain an AFQT Test score of 65 or higher on the ASVAB. • 70 Electronics (E) • * Knowledge of interpreting and applying mechanical, wiring and electronic circuit diagrams • Normal color vision • Completion of a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks and Credit • Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training • Must be at least 17, but has not reached age 42 on the date of enlistment
