Enlisted Special Operations Forces / Personnel Recovery Integrated Electronic Warfare Systems

As technology advances, our aircraft are able to provide greater defensive advantages to the pilots flying them. Responsible for analyzing systems and repairing any found malfunctions, Special Operations Forces/Personnel Recovery Integrated Electronic Warfare Systems specialists ensure that pilots are always able to detect the threats and risks present while on their missions. These experts utilize a variety of systems and methods to make certain that every system is working exactly as it should when it takes to the air.

What you'll do Operate and maintain electronic warfare systems Remove, install, check and repair avionics systems in line replaceable units Diagnose malfunctions using test systems and equipment Prepare aircraft for covert operations and reconnaissance Review maintenance data to determine possible trends

Basic Military Training 7.5 weeks Technical Training 100 Days Tech School Location Sheppard AFB, TX Status Upon Completion Enlisted Airman with credits earned towards Avionics Systems Technology

Key Things To Consider Requirements

You must meet several requirements before joining the Air Force. These concern your background, overall health and other standards set by the Air Force, Department of Defense and federal law.

You must be 17–42 years of age, a U.S. citizen and obtain a qualifying ASVAB score. • High School Students may start their application as early as the end of their junior year.

Applicants who are non-graduates or non-alternate credential holders must obtain an AFQT Test score of 65 or higher on the ASVAB. 70 Electronics (E) Knowledge of interpreting and applying mechanical, wiring and electronic circuit diagrams Normal color vision Completion of a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks and Credit Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training Must be at least 17, but has not reached age 42 on the date of enlistment
