Overview

Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to support pricing, cost analysis, and project planning efforts. This role is critical in evaluating production costs, driving accurate quoting, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and production processes • Review drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to develop quotes • Partner with engineering, operations, and procurement to gather cost inputs • Analyze historical data, quotes, and market trends to ensure pricing accuracy • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements • Support RFQs, bid proposals, and customer pricing discussions • Maintain and update costing models, databases, and documentation

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in estimating, costing, or manufacturing finance • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in Excel (cost modeling, data analysis) and ERP systems • Ability to interpret technical drawings/specifications is a plus • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
