## The Opportunity

UCPRI is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our Adult Program as a Direct Support Professional. We have wonderful opportunities for part-time work at our Johnston and Cranston locations. ## What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you'll assist clients with their activities of daily living including personal hygiene, medication administration, housekeeping, and preparing and serving meals. You'll develop and assist with relationships within the community to establish social connections and meaningful community involvement. Your work will ensure that clients receive proper care by adhering to their individual plan of care, and you'll assist with general health maintenance and creating a safe environment.

You'll also help clients in developing and carrying out their goals, provide transportation as necessary, follow UCPRI policies and procedures, maintain required certifications and trainings, and complete mandatory paperwork as required.

## What We're Looking For

You must be 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or GED. A valid driver's license with an acceptable record is required, along with reliable transportation and proof of vehicle insurance. You'll need to pass a background check and have the ability to communicate, read, write, and understand the English language.

## Training and Support

All Direct Support Professionals receive comprehensive training, including UCPRI medical policies and procedures as well as CPR and First Aid certification.

## Compensation and Benefits

Pay starts at $20.00 per hour. Benefits include mileage reimbursement, paid sick time, paid training, a referral program, and a retirement plan.

## Schedule

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling options. We offer 4-hour shifts, day shifts, evening shifts, morning shifts, night shifts, and overnight shifts. Schedules can include every weekend and holidays, with opportunities for Monday to Friday work as well.
