Food Production Worker - Kitchen
Job Summary
Join Built, one of Utah's fastest-growing food companies, as a Food Production Worker in our kitchen operations earning $19/hour. Work Monday through Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM helping create innovative protein bars and candy products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
• Operate and monitor industrial food production equipment including mixers, cutters, and enrobers
• Load raw ingredients into mixers following precise company recipes and measurements
• Program kitchen equipment to meet company and recipe standards
• Remove finished products from production lines and move batches to packaging
• Inspect each finished item for quality standards including size, shape, and appearance
• Respond to equipment alarms and malfunctions, operating shut-off switches when necessary
• Clean machinery and work stations during downtime following food safety protocols
• Maintain food production safety standards throughout your shift
What You Bring
Required
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to stand for full 12-hour shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong attendance and punctuality record
• Ability to communicate in English or Spanish
Preferred
• Previous packaging or food production experience
• Experience with industrial manufacturing equipment
• Knowledge of food safety protocols
Schedule & Shift
Monday through Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay & Compensation
$19.00 per hour, paid weekly on Fridays
