Adecco is recruiting for an experienced Toolmaker to support a specialized manufacturing company in Syracuse, NY . This position will focus on machining and fabricating complex parts and tooling used in production and development.

This a direct-hire opportunity paying $25-35 per hour, depending on experience, and offers a strong benefits package including the following:

Responsibilities:

Machine and fabricate precision parts from drawings or sketches

Set up and operate manual machines (lathe, mill, grinder)

Modify and repair existing tooling and components

Support prototype and custom part development

Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality standards

Qualifications:

5+ years of machining or toolmaking experience preferred

Strong experience with manual machining equipment

Ability to work from prints, sketches, or verbal instructions

Experience working with various metals (stainless, copper, etc.)

Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
