Accounting Clerk Bakersfield, CA 93308 $21.00–$24.00/hour DOE Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced AP/AR Clerk to join a busy and growing office in Bakersfield. If you have strong accounting experience, enjoy working with numbers, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the opportunity for you!

Qualifications: MUST HAVE 3+ years of recent, consecutive AP/AR or Accounting Clerk experience Strong QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel skills required Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable, including invoice entry, matching, and payment processing Manage accounts receivable, customer billing, collections, deposits, and month-end activities Generate and process invoices using QuickBooks and customer billing systems Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records Update customer information, pricing, and tax details in QuickBooks Assist with expense tracking, reporting, and other accounting projects Provide general office support, including answering phones and assisting visitors as needed
