This Mailroom / Print & Shipping Associate Position Features: Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite) Job Type: Contract to Hire Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00/hour
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal On-Site Services Specialist to support daily operations within a fast-paced legal office environment. This role involves handling high-volume copy, print, scanning, and mailroom services while delivering excellent customer support to legal staff. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in document services, strong technical aptitude with office equipment, and the ability to manage sensitive and time-critical legal documents.
Key Responsibilities Operate high-volume copy, print, and scanning equipment Manage incoming and outgoing mail, fax, and shipping/receiving tasks Perform document binding, finishing, and quality control checks Handle sensitive and confidential legal documents with accuracy Maintain and troubleshoot office equipment (copiers, printers, scanners) Monitor supplies, maintain service logs, and support billing documentation Provide excellent customer service to attorneys, paralegals, and staff Perform file management, scanning, OCR, and document formatting Coordinate document production and delivery within tight deadlines Ensure workspace and equipment areas are organized and fully stocked
Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 1 year of experience in a legal or office services environment Hands-on experience with copying, printing, and scanning operations Strong customer service and communication skills Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a law firm or legal services environment Familiarity with document management systems and OCR technology Basic troubleshooting skills for office equipment
Additional Information Professional business casual dress code required No parking provided at the worksite Must be able to work independently and handle multiple priorities
