We are currently seeking a reliable candidate with Manual Machining experience for a client in Akron, OH!

In this position, you will be working with a company that specializes in providing innovative and customizable solutions for a wide range of applications with a focus on precision engineering and high-quality materials.

Shift:

• 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, start time can be 6:00am, 7:00am, or 8:00am - 8 hour shifts + Overtime as needed

Pay:

• $21.00-$25.00/hr Based on Experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and repair precision parts using both manual and automated equipment • Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand required specs • Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of jobs • Take measurements and mark material for cutting • Perform sawing, drilling, counterboring and tapping operations per shop prints • Quality check final product for consistency to prints • Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages • General labor duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED • 2+ years experience in Manual Machining • Experience using and/or programming manual and semi-automated equipment • Ability to read blueprints • Ability to multi-task and produce quality results with a sense of urgency • Effective communication skills • High attention to detail • Ability to work with little to no supervision • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
