We are currently seeking candidates with packing, shipping or assembly experience to provide general production and warehouse help for a contract electronics manufacturer in Aurora, OH.

In this position you will be primarily responsible for packing and shipping products as well as helping with material handling, light fabrication, and assembly of high-quality electronic components.

Shift:

• 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday - Friday

Pay:

• $20.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Package and ship all outgoing products per company and customer requirements, ensuring proper handling throughout the process • Prepare shipping materials for daily use • Pack and bag materials on a high volume & repetitive basis • Properly receive all incoming shipments, distributing to departments as necessary • Disassemble computers & components for recycling • Mechanical and electronic assembly (we will train) • Assist in the fabrication of sheet metal cases for technical products • Maintain a clean and organized work environment • Help set up and operate various fabrication and powder coating machines/booths

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1+ years’ experience in shipping/receiving, preferably in a manufacturing environment • Ability to use hand tools and apply labels • Able to read/follow detailed written instructions and prints • Requires frequent moving of materials weighing up to 50 lbs • Must have a valid driver’s license • Knowledge of electronics/electrical products a plus • Neat, organized, efficient demeanor with meticulous attention to detail • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and multi-task in a fast paced environment
