Full-time openings available! MUST be available to work rotating weekends when scheduled.

Here's What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like: • Handle inbound calls from patients for food orders (for room service) • Discuss various food options, selections with patients/families • Provide friendly and exceptional service to patients and their families • Direct patient towards appropriate food items to meet nutritional goals; explain room service process • Review & edit patients' menu selections; consult with clinical nutrition or food service preparation staff as needed • Maneuver software program (lots of drop-down menu fields - point & click; some data entry) • Meet productivity standards and incorporate health system's core values into all areas of service • Will occasionally help with food order deliveries Schedule & Pay: • AVAILABLE SHIFTS: 6:30am-3:00pm, 11:30am-8:00pm • $15.00/hr Here's What Makes YOU a Great Fit: • Number ONE - Courteous & polite - good customer service & verbal communication skills • HS diploma or GED, PLUS one year of related experience (order taking, customer service, other telephone work) • Call center / customer service experience STRONGLY PREFERRED (used to inbound/outbound ordering) • Basic computer and keyboard skills - will be completely trained in the fully automated system • MUST be dependable - show up on time, ready to work • Willing to do TB test, and to get flu shot every year (provided by hospital during orientation) • Must have Jefferson County Food Handler's permit/card. Can get it online - cost of $20.00. • HEALTH DEPT REQUIREMENT: no jewelry except wedding band; no false nails • Black pants required; top provided.
