Production Technician Pay: $18.00 per hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.Location: Birmingham, AL Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for operating printing and production equipment, maintaining workflow efficiency, and ensuring high-quality output while minimizing waste. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Major Duties and Responsibilities • Follow established printing procedures and work order instructions

• Operate production equipment and software efficiently to maximize productivity

• Maintain adequate inventory of production supplies (paper, inks, laminates, etc.)

• Minimize material waste and help control production costs

• Perform daily equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting

• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and supervisors

• Support team members and assist with additional production tasks as needed

• Adhere to company handbook policies, safety procedures, and dress code guidelines

• Maintain consistent availability Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

• No cell phone use or texting permitted on the production floor or at workstations

Minor Duties and Responsibilities • Keep work areas and equipment clean, organized, and safe

• Cross-train to support additional production functions as needed

Qualifications Education: • High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience (Preferred but Not Required): • Experience in print production or manufacturing environment

• Familiarity with Onyx, Zund, and Corebridge software

Physical Requirements • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Performance Expectations Employee performance will be evaluated based on: • Job knowledge and understanding of company products and processes

• Proficiency in Onyx, Zund, and Corebridge software

• Understanding of materials, media sizing, square footage calculations, and equipment operation

• Ability to follow the full production workflow from order intake through completion

• Compliance with company policies and workplace standards

Training will be provided to ensure understanding of equipment, workflows, and responsibilities.
