Downtown Bham. You will be the key merchandiser for the business’s showroom and closeout room, maintaining inventory and appearance to ensure favorable customer impression Job highlights: • Keep showroom shelves and displays clean and presentable • ID errors in transfers or stocking and re-certify inventory levels • Print product and pricing labels as needed; make pricing and display signage • Greet and assist customers in showroom re: finding products, then refer to sales staff • Coordinate changes in pricing and displays with department head • Business casual work environment • Mon-Fri, 8 am – 4 pm schedule What we look for: • Minimum 2-3 years of retail or wholesale experience; merchandising a plus • Ability to attractively display products, in order to appeal to customers • Strong computer skills (P21, Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to effectively navigate product vendor websites • Able to work at pace and fast turnaround time as needed • Excellent communication skills – verbal & written • Ability to work independently, while also serving as integral part of the team • Moderate lifting – ability to lift & manipulate items up to 40-50 lbs at times • Forklift Operator • Unload/load • Drug-free workplace; background check required You Choose How to Apply: • CALL US at 205-981-1141, to immediately discuss your interest and qualifications • Email us an updated resume at: birminghamalsouth@expresspros.com; please put “Showroom Merchandiser” in email Subject • Apply online – click the button below to get started
