Overview
Our manufacturing client in Grayslake, IL is seeking a Shipping Admin Assistant to support daily shipping operations and communication between internal teams and external rep groups. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Communicate with Rep Groups and shipping teams to ensure accurate and timely information flow
• Match shipping paperwork with data in Epicor to maintain accurate records
• Reach out to Rep Groups daily to gather missing or updated information
• Support additional shipping admin duties as responsibilities expand over time
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Proficiency in Adobe for editing and manipulating PDFs
• Strong Excel skills for tracking and updating shipping data
• Professional email and phone communication
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Critical thinking skills to resolve discrepancies and support workflow
• ERP experience (Epicor preferred; training available)
