This position is responsible for all aspects of the motor winding function and supporting the overall assembly process. Candidates must be comfortable performing hands-on, repetitive tasks in a production environment. Key Responsibilities • Perform winding preparation and motor winding operations • Connect motor windings and perform cable splicing as required • Operate test equipment including megger, hipot, and surge testing devices • Support general labor and assembly processes as needed • Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals • Maintain a clean and safe work environment Equipment & Tools Used • Voltage panel box, creaser, hoist, table cutter • Measuring tape, grinder, band saw, hand grinder • Coil machine, electric wire stripper, air gun • Test equipment (megger, hipot, surge test) • Scale and forklift • Hand tools such as hammers and crescent wrenches Qualifications • High school diploma or GED preferred (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education) • Valid driver’s license required • Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on tasks • Strong written and verbal English communication skills • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and safety procedures • Prior experience in motor winding, electrical assembly, or similar field is a plus Why Work With Us? • Weekly pay • Opportunity to gain hands-on technical experience • Support from a dedicated staffing team • Potential for long-term placement Apply today with Express Employment Professionals to start your next career opportunity in Lubbock!
