Maintenance Technician – Apartment Community Hero Pay: $20.00–$25.00 Per HourSchedule: Mon-Fri 8a-4p MUST BE AVAILABLE TO BE ON CALL 1 WEEKEND A MONTHLocation: A thriving, resident-focused apartment community near you Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in making things work? We’re searching for a Maintenance Technician who thrives on challenges, takes ownership, and delivers exceptional service. You’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, comfortable, and beautiful living environment for our residents — and no two days will be the same. What You’ll Do: General Maintenance & Resident Support • Handle daily work orders and preventive maintenance tasks with precision and a smile
• Respond quickly and professionally to resident maintenance requests — you're their go-to hero!
• Help turn over vacant units by making them shine — from patching drywall to installing new fixtures
• Keep our grounds and common areas clean, safe, and welcoming
HVAC Responsibilities: • Diagnose, service, and repair heating and cooling systems to keep residents cozy year-round
• Change filters, check refrigerant levels, and clean coils to maintain system performance
• Install or replace thermostats, motors, and compressors
• Maintain HVAC systems to meet energy efficiency standards and building codes
Plumbing Responsibilities: • Fix leaks, clear drains, and ensure smooth water flow throughout the community
• Repair or replace water heaters, faucets, toilets, and garbage disposals
• Handle emergency water issues with speed and skill
• Maintain and repair irrigation systems and exterior water lines
? Electrical Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and repair lighting, outlets, switches, and appliances
• Replace fixtures, fans, and circuit breakers to ensure safety and functionality
• Keep emergency lighting, smoke alarms, and carbon monoxide detectors in top shape
• Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and safety standard
