Hiring for a Staff Accountant to join a growing team with a large professional services organization in the Philadelphia, PA area. This role is a hybrid opportunity and is an excellent fit for someone with 1-2+ years of accounting experience and non-profit industry background.

This is a hybrid opportunity - 2-3 days onsite.

Responsibilities • Prepare bank deposits • Assist with reconciliations and journal entries • Assist with grant accounting functions • Enter and code invoices into the system • Research accounting discrepancies • Assist with AP, AR and payroll functions, as needed • Prepare for year-end audit • Prepare Excel reports for management

Skills • 1-2+ years of general ledger accounting • Non-profit industry experience a plus • Bachelors' Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred • Advanced Excel - vlookups and pivot tables are a plus • Accuracy and attention to detail
