Position Overview

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the day-to-day operations of its Human Resources function. This organization is known for a collaborative, fast-paced environment where integrity, accountability, and teamwork are core to how work gets done. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys variety in their work and takes a hands-on, people-first approach to supporting employees and leadership.

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for administering key HR programs and processes, maintaining employee records, supporting compliance initiatives, and serving as a trusted resource for employees across the organization. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded HR professional who combines strong interpersonal skills with solid business judgment and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Support and administer core HR programs, including benefits, leave management, badging, training credentials, and related initiatives

- Serve as a point of contact for employee and applicant inquiries, escalating complex or sensitive issues as appropriate

- Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS, training platforms, and other HR-related systems

- Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

- Track and document completion of mandatory and non-mandatory training, certifications, continuing education, and licensure

- Coordinate background checks and manage facility, shipyard, and credentialing access

- Assist with facility security programs and related administrative processes

- Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with organizational values

- Stay current on HR best practices, regulatory updates, and emerging trends in human resources and talent management

- Provide support across recruiting efforts, including job postings, interviews, onboarding, and career development initiatives
