Job Description
Schedule is: afternoons, evenings, weekends - schedule is flexible
Hourly rate starting at $20 for Skills Trainer / $26 for RBT.

DESE:
• Assist individuals with personal care needs and skill training.
• Work independently in participants’ homes and in the community.
• Must be able to use own vehicle for transportation of consumers.
• Assist all individuals with their daily needs and ensure that all activities are reflective of their choices.
• Take initiative to integrate individual into the community in areas of his/her choice.
• Assist all individuals in meeting goals identified in all areas of the DESE Support Plan as indicated.
• Expose individual to new ideas and choices, which assist in their continued growth and development.
• Is responsible for the safety and well being of all individuals. Is aware of and follows all Individual and Program Specific Safety Plans and approved Positive Behavior Support Plans.
• Ability to carefully monitor and supervise individuals served.
• Maintain a courteous professional attitude while conducting business by effectively communicating with all LifeStream personnel, family members, and all community contacts.
ABA:
• Assist all individuals in meeting goals identified in all areas of the authorized treatment plan.
• Implements positive behavior support plan and behavioral interventions as directed by the LABA.
• Collects data related to goals and interventions as directed by the LABA.
• Completes sessions notes to document all services rendered in timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Current Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) certification - preferred
• Maintenance of an acceptable CORI and fingerprinting
• Valid Driver’s license
• Negative drug screen
• Use of personal vehicle for work purposes
• Commitment to the philosophy of community inclusion
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT)- preferred
• Three years of experience in the field of Human Services.
• Prior experience working with children.
• Prior experience working with individuals with complex behavioral needs.
• Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities.
• Demonstrated history of quality work performance and teamwork in previous positions
