Who We Are Sponsored Research Services (SRS) provides research administration services to The Texas A&M University System. We further the research goals of the university by delivering efficient and superior service to members of the Texas A&M System research community. What We Do • Support faculty members in the preparation, review, and submission of research proposals.

• Interpret and effectively communicate sponsor guidelines to ensure compliance with all requirements.

• Budget preparation and compliance verification with sponsor regulations and Texas A&M University System Member policies.

• Coordinate and compile proposal materials in collaboration with internal and external collaborators.

• Ensure accurate final proposal preparation, review and submission while adhering to strict deadlines.

What You Need to Know • Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire's experience.

SRS offices are located in College, Station, Texas. On-site, hybrid, and remote possibilities will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications Minimum required qualifications for Assistant Director: • Bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience

• Six years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including compliance and supervisory responsibilities, with related experience in accounting, project management, and budget development in a university or business environment, and experience supporting proposal administration, proposal preparation, or identifying funding/sponsorship opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications: • Research Administration Certification (CRA).

• Post-award project management experience.

• Familiarity with Sponsored Research Services procedures.

• Supervisory experience.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Minimum required qualifications for Associate Director: • Bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Eight years of administration experience, accounting experience, with some management experience.

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience managing complex federal research projects.

• Familiarity with SRS and TAMU Financial Management Operations (FMO) procedures.

• Experience supervising professional personnel.

• Research Administration certification (CRA).

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
