Job Description
We are looking for a Network Engineer to lead projects, guide and mentor the engineering team, and manage complex network and system solutions. The ideal candidate will be skilled in designing, configuring, and implementing solutions, performing advanced troubleshooting, and providing expert-level technical support. This role includes working closely with Solution Architects on pre-sales engineering, system architecture, and designing both on-premises and cloud-based solutions. The candidate should also be capable of implementing advanced technologies and serving as a key escalation point for engineering support.

Top Requirements for the role: • Juniper and EVPN experience is REQUIRED – this is non-negotiable. • Must be a hands-on Level 3 engineer. • Certifications are important, with a preference for Juniper credentials. • Strong routing and switching experience with an EVPN focus. • Certifications such as JNCIE, CCIE, or CCNP with strong Juniper experience and relevant EVPN/VXLAN exposure. • Juniper JNCIE certified is ideal- if you do not have JNCIE could be considered if you have substantial Juniper and EVPN experience (MUST HAVE). • Juniper experience with EVPN and VXLAN (EVPN experience is prioritized over VXLAN-only experience) • Juniper experience that is limited to firewalls will not be consider.
Responsibilities: • Lead projects and provide coaching and guidance to the engineering team. • Design, configure, and implement complex solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. • Collaborate with Solution Architects to develop solutions for pre-sales engineering efforts. • Implement and manage advanced technologies such as Network Access Control (NAC), Security Firewalls, Network Switches, Wireless (WLAN), and Server/Storage systems. • Serve as an escalation point for engineering support, providing expert-level debugging and analysis. • Document system designs, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures for configurations, changes, and troubleshooting. • Ensure all work complies with security protocols, industry best practices, and organizational policies. • Maintain existing certifications and pursue new ones to meet partner compliance requirements. • Act as a subject matter expert on emerging technologies and solutions.
Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. • One expert-level certification (e.g., Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE, Aruba ACSX) or two or more professional-level certifications across vendors (e.g., Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCIP, Aruba ACSP). • Five or more years of experience in systems or network engineering with hands-on project leadership. • Deep knowledge of advanced networking and system architecture for both on-premises and cloud environments. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues. • Experience configuring and implementing technologies such as NAC, routing and switching, EVPN/VXLAN, security firewalls, network switches, WLAN, and server/storage systems. • Proven leadership and coaching abilities to mentor and guide the engineering team. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with Solution Architects on pre-sales initiatives. • Strong documentation, project management, and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
