We are looking for a dedicated Learning & Development Trainer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Overland Park, Kansas. In this role, you will design, deliver, and maintain training programs aimed at empowering employees, customers, and merchants to effectively utilize our systems. This position offers the opportunity to shape learning experiences, develop training tools, and guide users in achieving their goals. Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for employees, customers, and merchants to enhance their system knowledge. • Design and maintain training materials, including policies, procedures, and forms, to ensure accuracy and relevance. • Conduct instructor-led training sessions and address spontaneous requests for system training. • Serve as a coach and advocate during training sessions, guiding participants with empathy and support. • Collaborate with internal teams to assess training needs and implement tailored learning solutions. • Facilitate onboarding programs, introduce new software platforms, and promote organizational effectiveness. • Create and maintain a robust knowledge base to support ongoing learning and development. • Oversee day-to-day training administration, including resource management, material preparation, and tracking participation. • Measure training effectiveness through metrics, performance evaluations, and course validation. • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance system functionality and improve operational efficiency.• Proven experience in designing and delivering employee training programs. • Proficiency with computer-based training tools and platforms. • Strong ability to conduct engaging and effective training sessions. • Expertise in adult learning methodologies and instructional design. • Familiarity with creating and maintaining department-specific SOPs. • Experience with instructor-led training and e-learning platforms. • Proficiency in using tools like Camtasia to develop training content. • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
