We are looking for a skilled Payroll Supervisor to lead and manage payroll operations in Lenexa, Kansas. This role requires someone who is detail oriented, with extensive expertise in payroll systems and compliance, as well as the ability to oversee a team and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Responsibilities: • Oversee the complete payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate bi-monthly payroll for over 500 employees. • Manage multi-state payroll operations while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. • Supervise and mentor payroll staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. • Collaborate with internal departments to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently. • Utilize payroll systems such as Dayforce to streamline processes and maintain accurate records. • Ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements and other applicable labor laws. • Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify and resolve errors proactively. • Stay updated on changes in payroll tax regulations and wage laws to maintain compliance. • Prepare and review payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders. • Drive process improvements to enhance the effectiveness and accuracy of payroll operations. • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive payroll experience, including managing multi-state payroll. • Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and compliance standards. • Proficiency in using payroll systems such as Dayforce, Workday, Oracle, or similar platforms. • Demonstrated ability to process full-cycle payroll for organizations with 500+ employees. • Analytical and organizational skills with the ability to solve complex payroll issues. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with employees and teams at various organizational levels. • Familiarity with prevailing wage requirements and other specialized payroll regulations.
