Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder responsible for laying out and welding structural steel to build metal structures.
Responsibilities • Weld and cut black carbon and galvanized steel, interpreting blueprints. • Operate hand tools, grinders, and be willing to learn basic shop machinery. • Ensure products are manufactured according to prints. • Maintain a neat and clean workspace in accordance with 6S leadership standards. • Adhere to and comply with all company safety requirements. • Read and understand schematics and blueprints. • Proficient in reading basic blueprints and weld symbols. • Read a tape measure and perform basic arithmetic calculations. • Operate vehicles, mechanical devices, or equipment. • Pass 3g/4g test in MIG welding, focusing on vertical/uphill and column welds. • Train other new welders as part of the job duties.
Essential Skills • Strong background in Flux-core welding and MIG Welding. • Ability to read blueprints and tape measures proficiently. • Minimum of 4 years of recent experience in welding. • Proficient in reading and interpreting welding blueprints. • Fluency in English for reading, writing, and speaking. • Ability to lift 50 lbs without restrictions. • Computer proficiency within a Windows environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications • TIG welding experience is a significant advantage. • 2-year welding certificate would be beneficial but not required.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate controlled atmosphere alongside 80 other employees, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 3:30 pm. Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
